Thursday 18th March the online workshop on SOS Project

 Online workshop for the dissemination of the research project “SOS” “advanced and eco-sustainable materials for applications in “Smart Operating Shelter” carried out within the Innonetwork 2017 call for proposals of the Puglia Region.

An online workshop is scheduled for March 18, 2021 for the presentation of the research results of the SOS project for the development of advanced and eco-sustainable materials for multifunctional, intelligent, reconfigurable structural panels intended for mobile healthcare shelters, or transportable hybrid surgical hospital structures, ready for use within a few hours of arrival, without the need for specialized personnel for assembly, capable of teleconsultations via satellite also using intra-operative CT images.
As part of the project, an innovative prototype of Operating Rooms was created, based on modular shelters and cutting-edge aeraulic and technological systems, for the creation of modular hospital structures integrated with healthcare logistics.
The working group formed in A.T.S. with R.I. as leader Spa Group, companies and multidisciplinary research centers participate including: ENEA CR Brindisi, Politecnico di Bari, CETMA Spa, Protom Goup Spa, Ena Consulting Srl, Me.Spo, Kinema srl, coordinated by the Scientific Manager Dr. Savino Arbore.
The SOS Project is part of the FESR- FSE 2014-2020 programming of the POR Puglia, which aims to strengthen the conditions and prerequisites for the creation of skills capable of effectively connecting with other territories, promoting the creation of long national and supranational networks also in terms of attracting investments in the Smart Specialization Strategies supported by the “FARO Unione dell’Innovazione” initiative promoted by SmartPuglia 2020.
